We had a wonderful younger woman help us. It was an emotional visit as my mom was getting her late mother’s ring sized. She was so kind and did not push any up sales or extras. But her colleague, unsure of her name, but “knew all her stones” was just rude. She quickly informed my mom the stone would be that cloudy even after a wash, she should replace the stone and also if you want it to be bigger they will need to take the whole ring apart. All negatives. One after the other….Just completely dismissing my mom and the importance of that specific ring. When you go into a store like this, you hope to be taken care of and not pushed or rushed. The woman who supposedly “knew her stones” just ruined the whole mood. The woman who we worked with the whole time was just lovely. I normally don’t write these reviews but it’s really quite a shame.

Mar 17, 2025 · Laurie KollerMy partner and I had a great experience shopping at David Yurman today, 2/1/2025. We scheduled a wedding & engagement appointment online. The scheduling process was seamless and easy to create. Upon arrival to our appointment, we were paired with Jamie G. who listened attentively to our preferences and showed us excellent wedding band options. She offered water, tea, and champagne during our appointment which was very kind. I think they also offer coffee as well, but we came in the store with some already. Jamie G. was friendly, funny, and easy to talk to. She made both of us feel cared for with regards to presenting different wedding band styles and listening to our feedback. We were very impressed with her. My partner and I both made final wedding band selections with Jamie's help! The checkout process was very easy. We're very happy with our new rings. Following the wedding band appointment, my partner commented and showed interest on one of Jamie's rings she was wearing. Jamie was kind enough to share the ring details and let her try on the same ring. I will absolutely be following up. Thank you Jamie!
Feb 01, 2025 · Rob DrevnoAs a frequent and loyal client of David Yurman, I have always admired the exceptional quality of their pieces and the welcoming service I’ve consistently experienced at various locations. However, my recent visit to the flagship store at 5 East 57th Street, New York, left me deeply disappointed. On Thursday, December 12, around 5-6 PM, I visited the store with a friend to inquire about the holiday pop-up event featuring hand-painted cards and hot chocolate. Upon arrival, a blonde associate with a low slicked-back bun informed us that the event would take place the following day. While I appreciated her providing that information, the subsequent interaction was both uncomfortable and unprofessional. As I began browsing, I was stopped before heading upstairs and asked if I had visited this location before. When I mentioned it was my first time, she felt compelled to point out that the upstairs section featured “more expensive pieces” along with bridal and men’s items on the third floor. I politely thanked her and continued to head upstairs, but she stopped me once more, questioning if I needed assistance with those particular pieces. Her tone and demeanor suggested a lack of trust in my presence, and I was made to feel unwelcome, as though I didn’t belong. The pointed stare and dismissive head tilt as she seemed to encourage me to leave was beyond uncalled for. This experience starkly contrasts with the warm, respectful service I’ve come to expect from David Yurman. I’ve shopped at multiple locations with my mother, and we’ve always been treated with the utmost courtesy. This particular associate’s behavior was degrading and condescending, leaving me feeling incredibly uncomfortable. David Yurman is a brand that has always been synonymous with elegance and hospitality. I hope this incident is addressed, as such treatment does not align with the high standards associated with the brand. For now, I’ll certainly avoid this location and continue to shop at others where I feel respected as a valued client.
Dec 14, 2024 · Ayim Jakypbekcalled the store to see availability for a necklace and was informed it was in stock. went there the same day to be told they were doing “inventory check” and it actually was not. therefore i ordered it that day on 1/14 with mike fowler and was told it would arrive in 2 days and receive a call/text when it does. waited a week and did not hear back so i called the store on 1/22 to discover it was ready for pickup and i was just never informed.
Jan 23, 2025 · SteffanWarning About David Yurman - Learned This One The Hard Way Hey everyone, just want to save you some headaches about David Yurman jewelry. Here's the deal - they don't offer ANY warranty. Like, zero. None. I found this out the expensive way. So I bought this bracelet a couple years back. Everything was fine for about a year until the hinge started acting up. A few months later - snap - it totally broke. Now, I figured this wouldn't be a big deal. I mean, come on, it's luxury jewelry - this stuff should last way longer than a year, right? Wrong. When I took it in to get fixed, they hit me with a repair bill that was almost HALF of what I paid for the bracelet in the first place! The crazy part? The thing that broke was just a tiny steel spring. Seriously, a spring. But they wouldn't budge - no warranty coverage at all, not even for the first year. Look, I get that stuff breaks sometimes, but this is a luxury brand we're talking about. The fact that they won't stand behind their products AT ALL is pretty wild. The jewelry looks great, sure, but you're totally on your own if anything goes wrong. Just wanted to put this out there for anyone thinking about dropping serious cash on David Yurman pieces. Maybe factor in an extra 50% to your budget for when (not if) something needs fixing. Trust me, your future self will thank you for knowing this upfront!
