She has told us a lot about the brand and showed us beautiful pieces. You can tell that the Alhambra pieces especially are in extremely high demand but we were still able to manage to buy a few of them. Very happy with our the overall VCA store experience.

Originally, I received a €200 repair quote in Paris, but due to travel constraints, I brought it to the New York store. There, the quote suddenly increased to over $3,000, with vague explanations about potential diamond replacements. Rather than address my concerns, the New York staff quickly pushed the responsibility to “corporate” and suggested sending the bracelet back to Paris, claiming it would be better handled there. After waiting two months, Paris deemed the bracelet unrepairable and quoted over $11,000 to reproduce it. Now, five months in, my bracelet remains with VCA, and I’m repeatedly told to wait for someone from corporate. Communication has been slow, contradictory, and evasive, with no one taking responsibility. I am also concerned about potential damage during delivery, as the pricing discrepancies have yet to be fully explained. This experience has fallen far below the standards I expect from Van Cleef & Arpels, and I strongly advise caution when dealing with their New York location.

From the moment I walked in the door, I was told that the piece I was looking for was “too small” and that they only sell “high jewelry”. I still decided to walk around and browse, but was followed around, talked down to and made to feel that I simply didn’t belong there. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
