Great experience at Gold Mine. My wife lost an earring holder at the museum and we walked 8 blocks to Gold Mine. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and replaced the holder free of charge! Great NYC service and hospitality to tourists. Thank you, much appreciated.

The owners were absolutely amazing. I went to 12 other jewelers looking for a cross for my goddaughter's baptism. Not only did they have exactly what I needed, they had many options. The owner was so kind, understanding, friendly, and helpful. Not only did they have the cross, but they had an 18 inch chain, but I needed at 14 inch. He didn't just alter it, he created an additional loop so it was adjustable and my goddaughter could grow with it. Absolutely amazing! I don't think I've had a better experience, esp after going to so many others. Thank you for being so great!

Wouldn't recommend. I went here looking to sell some gold because my dad had sold jewelry here recently and gotten great prices. Was given a quote for half what my gold was worth and when I asked if he could explain how he got to that number I was told "young lady this is how it works. You bring it we give you a number you either say yes or you go". As if I wouldn't know he was trying to make a 50% profit off me. Brought it somewhere else the next day and made twice as much.

Probably a slightly unusual review, but I had to express my appreciation to the gentleman who served my fiancée and me last week! I had just proposed in Central Park, but the ring (purchased elsewhere) was slightly too large. I found Gold Mine Jewelers after a quick google search and we headed straight over to see whether they would have a temporary fix to make the right fit better before we got home (UK-based). We explained the situation to the gentleman who served us (apologies I didn't catch your name!) and not only was he very welcoming and friendly, but offered his congratulations to us, before providing a device that ensured the ring fitted a lot better. On top of this, the gentleman provided this service "on the house" as it was our special day! This gesture was so thoughtful and much appreciated, and you are now a part of our special day together when we tell family and friends our story. Thank you again!

Absolutely love this place!! First off, the owners are amazing! They’re friendly, helpful, fast and really know what a person wants. Secondly, They designed and made my engagement ring and it was exactly what I wanted and just absolutely gorgeous. All of their jewelry is just beautiful. We are now in the process of shopping for wedding rings made by them. They also understood my daughters sensitive ears and made sure she had earrings that were beautiful, age appropriate and would not hurt her ears. This is and will be the only place we will go for jewelry. Thank you!
