*Extremely* disappointed in our experience here. My now-husband and I came here toward the end of last March to look for our wedding bands on the recommendation of someone in a Facebook bridal group who had custom work done by this jeweler. I needed a contoured band and ended up finding one I loved. My engagement ring has a platinum band, so I asked if I could order the wedding band in platinum too. I was told yes and placed the order. My husband purchased his band, too. I was so happy to have finally found a wedding band that I loved and that paired so nicely with my engagement ring. When we went to pick up our rings, I was so taken aback by what unfolded. As soon as I tried on my ring, I knew something was wrong. It was a completely different ring than what I had tried on, loved, selected, and ordered. The dip/contour in the ring was significantly smaller and didn't sit flush with my engagement ring. The band sat very high on my finger/was thick on the underside. And the stones stuck out rough and irritated my middle and pinky finger, rather than feeling flat and smooth as they did when I selected the ring. Yet I was told it was "basically the same ring." So I pulled out the photos from first time and asked to see the original band I tried on. It took several people searching for probably 45 minutes to find the original band. Then Morris told me he would "just file down" the one they ordered for me to make it look "99% like" the one I had tried on and ordered. I said I wasn't comfortable with this and would prefer starting over rather than trying to make the wrong ring "look like" the right one. He said "I can tell you I'Il do that and then do it my way anyway, if that's what you want." When his associate mentioned melting the ring down and making a new one from scratch, Morris rolled his eyes and told him to "please stop talking" (and the same to us). He kept insisting he could file down the inside to thin it out and just make the contour deeper and I pushed to have him feel the stones himself to understand that I chose a flat, smooth band and was given one with rough stones that irritated my fingers. At that point he finally admitted that he understood what I was saying and that it "isn't possible to do this in platinum" because of the difference in polishing the stones with white gold and platinum. If that's true, they never should've made the sale telling me the same band could be ordered in platinum; I should've been told you can take it in white gold or we can make it close in platinum but there will be differences due to the nature of the different metals. He didn't have an answer for that. And what he said was clearly a lie as I found and ordered the exact same style ring in platinum through Angara, and it had the finish I wanted. He also said he thought we "should just cancel the order" because it "isn't his job" to make me unhappy. I said I didn't want to cancel, I was just asking questions to try and get the ring I loved and already ordered/was made to believe I could have. I was made to feel like I was crazy and even asked my husband to weigh in on whether he was seeing the same things I was. I was almost in tears with the way we were being treated and talked to and don't think that was right given the mistake was on their end. Because I was afraid I wouldn't find a similar band elsewhere, I took the white gold they had in stock and they resized and cleaned it while we waited. But I wasn't happy with it, so I ended up keeping the platinum ring from Angara as my wedding band and now am out $750 for the white gold. Also, my husband ordered his band with the shiny finish and it came out with matte. It ended up working out because he was second guessing the shininess and preferred the matte. But that was technically another mistaken order. I also tried on earrings and Morris told me that it was odd they weren't sitting flat on my ears and maybe it was how my earring holes were done... Just all around rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Beware.

Jan 06, 2024 · Keri Ann FlaccomioM&A is our go-to. My parents referred us to them as they have been seeing Morris and family for years. My fiance and I purchased our wedding bands through them. They were so attentive and kind and did not pressure us into any decisions. They wanted to ensure we really loved what we chose. They helped bring my fiance's vision for his custom studded band to life. Due to their amazing service, I inquired over the phone about a specific watch for my fiance's wedding gift. Nicole was patient, responsive, and provided a turnaround time of less than a week for me to pick up the exact watch and for a very competitive price. We will not stray from M&A and will continue to spread the word of their craft and customer service to all in need of a jeweler. A knowledgeable and trustworthy family in the industry that is deserving of your business! You will not regret paying them a visit.
