I brought in an antiqued and oxidized silver ring in to be downsized. The ring was designed to have a vintage and worn-in look and has very distinct patina and oxidation pattern around certain elements of the ring. When I returned the ring was completely different, it was totally shiny and polished all over without the patina or oxidation. I understand that miscommunications happen, but what did not sit well with me is that the jeweler did not take any ownership for totally changing the appearance of the ring, or show any empathy. He first tried to gaslight me by saying the ring came in polished, then scolded me that I should have known it was going to be polished and totally changed, and finally tried to convince me that the patina/oxidation should't have been on it in the first place, even though that's exactly how the original artisan made the ring creative and interesting and unique. Two stars because the ring is now the right size, but the aesthetic is completely different and no longer the style I want. I'm disappointed because I loved the ring. I'm going to try to bring it to the original artisan to see if it's salvageable.

Mar 21, 2025 · Christian Hicks PuigI visited Jewelry Land for a few adjustments on some delicate chain pieces, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The service was both professional and personable, and the craftsmanship was top-notch. I highly recommend Jewelry Land for anyone seeking high-quality jewelry and expert service.
Jan 19, 2025 · Kristina HammI get my jewelry cleaned here and they do an excellent job. BUT: I brought in my great-grandmother’s diamond watch which had stopped working and Mr. Park said it would be over $400 to repair. Another store repaired it for $220. I brought in a vintage watch I just bought which needed a link or two removed and Mr. Park said it would cost $150 to do it. HM Jewelers on the East Side is doing it for $65. I am so taken aback by the over-charging, . and sadly disappointed. Mr. Park seems like a very nice man but it is not nice to charge two to almost three times what another very good jeweler does. I would give only 3 stars but I don’t want to damage his rating. I just think others should know about the high charges.
Oct 19, 2024 · Ellen CantarowMy family and I have come here for years to get watch repair/battery replacement. They are quick and do a great job. I always recommend this store to friends
Sep 06, 2024 · Christina DI’m giving this place 1 star only bc I have to. They’d get 0 if it were up to me. Just to preface this I was shocked by how unkind and unwelcoming they were considering they sold me something faulty. They are mean, unwilling to help, and just plain impossible to deal with. The owner of the store sold me a vintage LeCoultre watch for 1000$. I had been there in previous days to check some things out. The original price of this watch was 1500$. And he next time I went in it had dropped to 1000$. So I took my opportunity and purchased it. Later that day while i was wearing it the crystal falls off the wrist watch. This guy knew it that this watch was faulty. When I brought it back to return it, he says his policy is no refunds, store credit only. There was nothing else i wanted there so store credit was useless. Plus he was rude and obnoxious. It was a horrible experience xperience. What a as interesting though was that the last time I had been there, there was another man in the store very unhappy. The owner is dishonest, lies, and won’t even logically reason with you. He took no fault nor did he apologize for the faulty watch. Instead he stood there with cold eyes. I finally decided this isn’t going anywhere so I’ll take the equivalent of 1000$ in gold. So hopefully by selling it ill get at least something back. My prediction though is that I’m only able to get a few hundred back when I sell it. I have to cut my losses at that point. Never go to this place. Jewelry Land is one of the worst if not the very worst jewelry stores he ever been to.!! Gigantic rip off. Don’t go !! Update: so I went to sell the gold and got a total of 225$. This man stole 800$ from me. This is from another customer: Brought a gold diamond engagement ring here to be resized in February. They measured her finger to determine the size that was needed. Came back a few days later to pick it up and it was still just as big as it was before. Called them twice to ask about it and the only thing he said was that if I brought it in again I would need to pay full price to get him to do any work on it, even though it seemed like he didn't do anything the first time. Just brought it to another jeweler who confirmed the ring was the same size as before. They refused to refund me and took the money and didn't do any work on the ring. Absolutely not confused this place with another store. Really would kinda just like my money back because they charged me $87 to size the ring from a size 4.5 to a size 4 and when I brought it to another jeweler to measure he confirmed it's still a size 4.5.
