This is the third workshop I have scheduled with Elizabeth, and it was just as incredible! She is an amazingly talented artist and a wonderful instructor. Everyone who came (It was an event for an organization I am part of at university) left thrilled with the experience and their one-of-a-kind earrings. I adore mine. During the workshop, she was really hands-on and took us through each step safely. For gorgeous, handmade, personalized jewelry, Elizabeth's workshops are worth it without a doubt!

Mar 23, 2025 · Mikaela JernslettenI met Elizabeth Ann at her studio at the Monroe Center. It was an open house, and how grateful I am that I stumbled in to Eat Metal. I had several rings, from my mother and grandmother that I inherited. They were all sitting in a jewelry box, not being worn. I made an appointment with Beth Ann to bring in all my jewelry. We sat together for an hour as I shared the stories of each ring and the memories I had. I remember holding my grandmothers hand and twisting her engagement ring around her finger as a child, just delighted to be close to her. I missed my mom who had worn Grandma's ring until she died a few years ago. I had so many pieces of my history. Beth Ann and I spent about 8 months, designing a ring, we called "The Circle of Life". All of the platinum was melted to make one special ring. Each diamond was used, even the tiniest, because I wanted one ring I would wear which would be the history of my life. The diamond that I wear closest to my heart is my grandmothers. The rubies were in celebration of the birth of my first son, a Leo. Beth Ann started with sketches and we worked together creating a ring I now wear every day. It was an emotional process and I came to respect and love the way that Beth Ann worked with me. Beth Ann created something new for me, going forward in this chapter of my life. And everyday, I see and feel the love of the people who wore parts of this ring during their lifetime. Beth Ann probably has some better photos to post, but I wanted to give such a big thank you, to the woman who helped me tell my story in combining all my memories. I have never met anyone finer that could have gone through this process with me. She is creative, gifted, technical, funny and smart. And she listens. I have such gratitude. Thank you Beth Ann.
Apr 30, 2017 · Jeanne ShanahanI was looking for a cool activity for my team to do together and thankfully was able to find Elizabeth at EatMetal. She was so gracious to accommodate a special class for us outside of her normal class hours as well as host a larger group than normal as well. Elizabeths studio was so cute and we were able to make sterling silver rings! She walked us through each step and ensured we all were able to make beautiful rings. She is an incredible instructor, so talented, and an overall joy. Our entire team had the best time and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take a class in making jewelry! You will not be disappointed!
Aug 08, 2024 · Kaitlin JonesWas just looking for a good Valentine’s Day activity and I came across this studio. She was super great with explaining the process but allowing us to 100% craft our rings. Fun and recommending to all my peoples
Feb 23, 2025 · Toni BenjaminI hired BethAnn to come teach a class for my girl scout troop (age 10). She picked the perfect piece for them to make. She explained everything thoroughly, then helped the girls step by step through the process. They have a new appreciation for making jewelry, and they feel proud that they made their own piece. BethAnn also taught them about tools and different materials, and the many different ways jewelry is made. I would highly recommend Eatmetal for any kids program, party or girl scout event! She is a fabulous teacher, patient and fun! Now I want to take her adult class, since the girls had so much fun and made a great piece of jewelry. :) Shannon DiNota Feb 2021 ....I wanted to add a new review about the pieces of jewelry BethAnn has repurposed in a unique and incredible way! I have lost a few valuable pieces, and she has created a new piece of jewelry, and in the end I liked what she made more than the original piece! I would highly recommend if you lose a precious piece or a piece of jewelry you like, contact EatMetal to repurpose! Check out the pics below!
