It was easy to find, and our consultant Emma Kubek was great. She was patient and answered all of our questions. She was knowledgeable and explained details we did not know about the 4Cs. She allowed me to try on various rings, and the best part was that we never felt pressured. It made the experience so much more enjoyable. We decided on "the one." Hopefully, I can come back with an update post on my forever "I do" ring.
Mar 11, 2025 · Fatima RamirezOrdering and getting the ring was a very pleasant experience, and I give a lot of credit to our consultant, Tajani. She was helpful and very knowledgeable through that process. Then the nightmares began after we dropped the ring back off to get resized (it was just a quarter-size off). We were originally told it would take 2-3 weeks to have it resized and shipped back, which would have been fine. There was no communication from Brilliant Earth until we inquired after 2.5 weeks, at which time we were told it would ship out in 2-3 days. Four days later, I received an email stating that the ring needed to be completely remade, which left me confused as to why just days before we were told it would be shipping out. Gave me the sense that no one had even looked at the ring until we reached out. After that, getting in contact with a Brilliant Earth manager over the phone was abysmal - we would be told a manager would reach out in 24 hours, then a call wouldn't come until 7:30pm the next day. And if I happened to miss the call due to the odd timing, but tried to call back immediately, I would be told no managers were available. Getting answers as to when we would be getting the ring back was a near-impossible task, and we were repeatedly misled again. After Brilliant Earth kept the ring for 6 weeks in all, we finally got it back, with little more than some apologies and what was described as a "modest" discount off a future purchase (which felt a bit insulting, and no further details were given). Overall, the ring itself is great and what we were looking for, but this may have been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. As of now, I would strongly suggest others shop elsewhere, because if anything needs to get addressed with the ring and you have to send it in, you might never get it back without plenty of persistence and patience.

I have had some trouble with one stone in the setting. I got the ring in December of 2020 and I first had the stone fall out sometime in summer 2021. I took it to a local jeweler for repair. They looked at it and told me they could fix it for me, but they recommended I reach out to brilliant earth because it was not my fault and really should be fixed by the retailer for free. I sent it to brilliant earth and they fixed it and sent it back, and all was well. I recently went to get it cleaned now in 2024 and they showed me that the same stone was loose and would fall out soon. At this point I just had the jeweler fix it because it is a bit nerve wracking to mail the ring so far away. I didn’t have bad experiences with customer service. I do believe my husband was waiting to sign for it and the postal company ended up just dropping it at his door, so that was another weird thing. Overall I like my ring, but it is disappointing spending so much money on something that seems to keep missing a stone.

Naturally, my girlfriend and I were a little nervous going into our first ever appointment like this, but Kristina immediately made us feel comfortable, welcome and excited. Kristina included all of the settings/diamonds that we had requested to see. The showroom is clean, beautiful and easy to navigate. Kristina was personable, informative and was totally understanding of our preferences and needs. It is such a relief to work with a jewelry sales professional that respects the speed we feel comfortable going at during this life changing process. I highly recommend making an appointment at BE on 5th Ave.
