Maria Tash is exactly how a company should act when it comes to taking accountability and valuing its loyal customers. As someone with over 10 piercings, the majority of which are adorned with Maria Tash jewelry, I've invested in several pieces over the years to curate my perfect stacks. Last August, I had my fourth lobe piercing done at the shop, and I purchased a beautiful piece to be placed in it. Unfortunately, just under six months later, the front of the piercing fell out, which was especially odd considering the screw-in mechanism had never been tampered with, and the backing was still in my ear by the end of the day. Given that I’ve never had any issues with the durability of other pieces I've had for years, I reached out to customer service, referencing the six-month warranty they proudly advertise on their website, and suggested that the piece might have been defective. Initially, I was disappointed by the response, which just said that lost or stolen jewelry wasn’t covered. As a loyal customer who has made substantial purchases, I was expecting a bit more understanding, especially given the price point of these pieces. However, just a few weeks later, I received an email from Sebastian, the store manager in New York, who had heard about the situation from the customer service team. Unlike the initial response from the customer service representative, Sebastian actually acknowledged how unusual it was that the front of the piece had fallen out after just six months, especially since Maria Tash prides itself on the careful craftsmanship of each piece. He took the time to personally ensure I was taken care of by offering a one-time exception, shipping the replacement piece at no cost. The replacement arrived today, and yes, I made sure to inspect it thoroughly. I’m pleased to say it is back in my ear. I want to personally thank Sebastian and the entire in-store team for stepping up where the corporate team fell short. Their professionalism, understanding, and commitment to customer satisfaction are what truly set Maria Tash apart. It's actions like these that will keep me coming back for more years to come.

The people who work here are so kind, patient, thoughtful, and conscientious. We came to get my 5 year old's ears pierced- I was initially apprehensive but the people who I spoke with, Lee and Carolina, really instill trust. Overall the experience was extremely positive- aside from a seemingly smooth and painless piercing by Carolina (my daughter didn't flinch, and she seemed really happy at the end), Carolina was supportive and patient with her. Lee and Carolina were professional, explained everything, emphasized safety. There were so many times during our visit that I felt Lee went out of his way to make the experience positive for my daughter, which was totally not necessary but greatly appreciated. Very happy that this place exists, I can't imagine having to get my daughter's ears pierced anywhere else.

Super friendly staff but unfortunately they pierced my daith with a hoop that was too small to facilitate healing. It got a huge irritation bump. Returned to my local shop and the piercer there helped me size up in jewelry, though it was a bloody, painful mess I feel I could have avoided. For a “luxury” experience this was disappointing.

I had the best experience at Maria Tash today. My two daughters have multiple piercings from Maria Tash, and we have always received exceptional customer service there, but today was next level. I so appreciated how Ann went above and beyond helping me with an issue we were having with the posts on my daughters' earrings. She was so understanding and patiently took the time to educate me on the importance of downsizing the post once the piercings are healed. We will definitely choose (and highly recommend) Maria Tash for any future piercings.

I went to Maria Tash in NYC to get a piece of jewelry for my conch piercing. Lee Fouche helped me and he was so great! I wanted a hoop and a piercer immediately stepped in to measure my ear and make sure I got the perfect fit. Lee showed me a lot of options, and when the selection was made, the piercer installed the jewelry. Overall this was a super fun experience for me. The staff was professional and helpful, and the store was super clean. All the jewelry is gorgeous and seems to be well made. Recommend!
