I could not have imagined a better engagement ring shopping experience than the one I had with Leigh. Leigh has a beautifully curated collection of late (1930s) Art Deco rings and more. Since I was specifically looking for a ring from this era, it was refreshing to find a jeweler who not only specialized in this style but also had such impeccable taste. But most of all, Leigh was kind, welcoming, and genuinely wanted the best for us every time we walked in. He was never pushy, and I had the feeling he would even be willing to recommend other jewelers if he didn’t have what we were looking for. Leigh was incredibly patient as we tried on countless rings. After our first visit, he found other vintage bands he thought we would like, and it was from these that we found the perfect one. He sourced the diamond, cleaned the ring, and resized it for us, all with exceptional care. His prices are incredibly fair, especially compared to what I’ve seen elsewhere in NYC. I highly recommend visiting Leigh. Even if you don’t end up purchasing from him, I’m confident he will be a helpful guide in your search.

Stop searching if you want a vintage style ring. I looked at rings for over a year. Never liked anything. I am quite picky. I was stopped in my searching tracks when I found this website. My fiancé and I were shopping for 3 rings. A band for her and an engagement and band for me. We found everything we LOVED including Leigh. I was shocked at the service and timely replies from the owner. We have never stepped foot in his store, and shopped from out of state. And let me tell you how much I want to hug this man. My fiancé fell in love with a ring. Leigh found the perfect sapphires to match her engagement ring. When it arrived and she slipped it on, it swallowed her engagement ring. She loved the ring but it just didn’t match with hers. I felt horrible after all the communication time and work that went in it and now I had to tell Leigh that my love didn’t love her ring. He made returning it easy and worry free. We are going to try styles near home and sending him videos and photos he will make my fiancé her perfect ring. Leigh was more than understanding. He actually wants you to love your piece. Not just make a sale. We love him so much. My rings… my engagement ring was gorgeous! It was too tight and Leigh noticed in the photo I sent him. He offered to resize it for no charge. My wedding band was also stunning. I liked it so much I wanted it made into an enhancer and Leigh was again, more than happy to oblige. Other things need mention- This man truly loves what he does. Never once was I asked to go higher on my budget or felt pressured. In fact, everything was under budget. We live in quiet country. I was having a hard time getting my finger sized. Leigh sent a sizing set to me!!! The shipping is amazingly well packaged and fast. He even sends videos as well as photos. He truly understands service and communication. With never stepping foot in his place to try anything on or meeting him; we felt truly cared about and were comfortable with him instantly. So if you are still debating where to shop, this would be the end of your search. You will not be disappointed.

We got our engagement ring from Leigh. He was patient and kind when I was shopping with a girlfriend. He delivered the ring to my fiancé in time for a trip we were taking. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for honest service and great designs!

I can't express how grateful we are to Leigh Jay Nacht for the gorgeous engagement ring! We were referred to Leigh Jay Nacht Inc. after getting an heirloom stone appraised, as I mentioned I wanted a vintage inspired setting with some modern detail. Leigh's shop provided wonderful inspiration for us to participate in the custom design process. They have countless gorgeous vintage and vintage reproduction settings. Leigh worked for months with us to design exactly the ring I wanted, and I was not an easy customer with a straightforward idea. He spent a lot of time and personal attention walking me through options for various aspects of the design, and incorporated my own idea for a recessed Hexagon Halo to the exact specifications I wanted. He also let me choose the exact rose gold shade I wanted, and made multiple models for me to try on before finalizing the design. Best of all- he managed to keep the exact finished ring design a surprise, so there was still an element of traditional surprise involved in our proposal. Leigh and his wife are wonderful folks who provide personalized customer service and my Fiancée Patrick and I are grateful to have them and the custom ring design as part of our story. We highly recommend them for both custom setting designs, and for anyone shopping for vintage or vintage inspired settings. We look forward to adding better photos when we get them taken- the photos just don't do this gorgeous ring justice!

The ring we ended up with was exactly what my fiancée wanted, it turned out beautiful, and we will certainly be visiting Leigh again for wedding bands.
